The generating station is the location where electrical power is produced using raw natural resources.
The distribution system connect all the loads in a particular area together. The transmission lines connect the generating station to the distribution system and thus transfer the generated electrical energy to the load centers where the consumers who use the energy are located.The transmission system of a particular area is called a grid.
